Crispy Cheese Potato Balls
Ingredients:
Potato Mixture: 3 large potatoes (boiled & mashed), 100g shredded cheese, 2 tbsp chopped parsley, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper
Coating: 2 eggs (beaten), 100g breadcrumbs, 50g flour
Sauce: 100g mayonnaise, 1 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Frying: Vegetable oil for deep frying
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Potato Mixture: In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Shape into small balls.
2. Coat the Balls: Roll each ball in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat for extra crispiness.
3. Fry the Balls: Heat oil in a deep pan to 180°C (350°F). Fry the balls in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
4. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, and parsley.
5. Serve: Drizzle sauce over the crispy potato balls, garnish with extra parsley, and enjoy
