Decadent Cheddar Quick Bread Recipe | Easy Cheesy Loaf
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Whisk until well combined.
3️⃣ Add Cheese: Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
4️⃣ Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, and egg until smooth.
5️⃣ Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients: Pour wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Stir until just combined (batter will be thick — avoid overmixing).
6️⃣ Fill the Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
7️⃣ Bake: Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
8️⃣ Cool & Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
