Homemade Big Mac Recipe – Classic Big Mac Sauce & Burger Patties

Ingredients:
For the Burger Patties:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For the Big Mac Sauce:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons pickles, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Additional Ingredients:
- 3 sesame seed hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- ½ cup finely diced onion
- 6 slices American cheese
- 12 dill pickle slices

Instructions:
- Make the Big Mac Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons finely chopped pickles, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon white vinegar, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon onion powder.
Season with salt and pepper, then mix until smooth. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. - Prepare the Burger Patties:
Divide the ground beef into 6 equal portions and shape them into thin patties.
Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. - Toast the Buns:
Slice the hamburger buns into three parts: top bun, middle bun (using the bottom of an extra bun), and bottom bun.
Lightly toast the buns in a skillet or toaster. - Assemble the Big Mac:
Spread a generous amount of Big Mac sauce on the bottom bun.
Add a handful of shredded iceberg lettuce and some finely diced onions.
Place one slice of American cheese and a cooked burger patty on top.
