Cream Cheese Swirled Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 box brownie mix (or homemade brownie batter)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  • Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, using melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture onto the brownie batter. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the cream cheese into the batter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
