Layered Gourmet Beef

Ingredients:

  • 600g potatoes
  • 300g ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Microgreens for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Pre-cook the Potatoes
    • Peel and slice potatoes into thick rounds.
    • Boil in salted water for 8-10 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Beef
    • Sauté onion in olive oil until translucent, then add garlic.
    • Add ground beef, season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
  3. Make the Sauce
    • Stir in soy sauce, honey, and tomato paste. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Crisp the Potatoes
    • Pan-fry potato slices until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Assemble & Serve
    • Layer potatoes and beef alternately on plates.
    • Garnish with microgreens and serve hot.

Tips:

  • Cooking Control: Avoid overcooking potatoes to keep them intact.
  • Flavor Variations: Swap honey for maple syrup or add a pinch of chili for spice.
  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container for up to 2 days; reheat on low heat.
