Fluffy Pancakes Recipe
These light and airy fluffy pancakes are the perfect breakfast treat! Made with whipped egg whites for extra fluffiness, they’re soft, golden, and absolutely delicious.
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs (separated)
- 1 cup milk (or almond milk)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Powdered sugar, for topping (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ingredients
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, milk, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
2. Mix the Batter
- Add the egg yolk mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- Gently fold in the beaten egg whites with a spatula to keep the batter light and fluffy.
3. Cook the Pancakes
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour a small ladleful of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip carefully.
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes, until both sides are golden brown.
