Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the Creamy Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

For Assembly:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Directions

Cook the Filling:

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the beef and sauté for about 4–5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes to combine the flavors.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until melted and combined, then remove from heat.

Make the Creamy Sauce:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until smooth.

Assemble the Wraps:

  1. Warm the tortillas slightly for easier folding.
  2. Spread a spoonful of creamy sauce on each tortilla.
  3. Layer with shredded lettuce and diced tomato.
  4. Spoon the cheesy beef mixture over the vegetables.
  5. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese if desired.
  6. Fold in the sides and roll up tightly into a wrap.

Optional Toasting:

  1. For a crispy finish, grill the wraps in a skillet over medium heat for 1–2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
