Ingredients
For the Chicken Tenders:
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or panko breadcrumbs
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers (or panko), shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning mix.
- In another bowl, mix sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken tender in the sour cream mixture.
- Roll tenders in the cracker and cheese mixture, pressing to coat evenly.
- Arrange tenders on the baking sheet and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and coating is golden and crispy.
- Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.
