Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat chicken breasts in the mixture, pressing to adhere well.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden.
- Transfer to the baking sheet and top each breast with mozzarella.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
