Homemade Wendy’s-Style Frosty
Ingredients:
2 cups (480ml) cold whole milk
1 (14 oz/396g) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups (about 480g) chocolate ice cream
Directions:
Prepare the Frosty Mixture:
a. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cold whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
b. Add the chocolate ice cream to the bowl and stir until everything is evenly mixed.
Blend (Optional):
a. For a smoother texture, you can blend the mixture in a blender for about 30 seconds until creamy.
Freeze:
a. Pour the mixture into a large, freezer-safe container.
b. Place it in the freezer for about 1-2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to keep it from freezing solid and to maintain a soft-serve consistency.
Serve:
a. Scoop into cups or glasses and enjoy immediately while cold and creamy.
