  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pinch chili (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro sprouts (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preparation of Ingredients:
Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the package, drain, and reserve.
Marinate the beef with 1 tsp soy sauce, 1/2 tsp oyster sauce, and a pinch of black pepper for 10 minutes.
Prepare all the vegetables so they’re ready to be sautéed quickly.
  2. Shrimp & Beef Cooking:
Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large hot frying pan.
Cook the shrimp until pink and slightly golden brown (about 2 minutes). Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add a little more oil and sauté the beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cooking Vegetables:
Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil to the wok. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
Add the carrot, pepper, and broccoli. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Final Mix:
Add the beef and shrimp back into the pan with the veggies.
Add the cooked noodles and pour the sauce (mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil).
Toss well to coat the noodles and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve:
Serve hot in plates or bowls.
Top with fresh cilantro and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.

Pro Tip: For an even more authentic taste, add a few drops of Sriracha sauce or rice vinegar when serving.
