Ingredients:

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust (or homemade)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Β½ tsp salt
  • Β½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Β½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Β½ cup pepperoni slices
  • ΒΌ cup diced onions (optional)
  • ΒΌ cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

1. Preheat the Oven

  • Set your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

2. Prepare the Crust

  • Roll out the pie crust and press it into a greased 9-inch pie pan.
  • Poke the bottom with a fork and bake for 5 minutes. Set aside.

3. Cook the Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Cook until browned, then drain excess fat.

4. Assemble the Pie

  • Spread half of the pizza sauce over the pre-baked crust.
  • Layer the cooked beef, onions, and bell peppers.
  • Sprinkle half the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

5. Top It Off

  • Add the remaining pizza sauce, then the rest of the cheese.
  • Finish with pepperoni slices.

6. Bake

  • Place in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Serve & Enjoy

  • Let it cool slightly before slicing.
  • Serve with garlic bread, a fresh salad, or marinara for dipping!
