Crack Chicken Tenders

These ultra-crispy, cheesy chicken tenders are coated in a ranch-seasoned cracker crust and baked to golden perfection. Perfect for weeknight dinners or game day snacks.

Ingredients

For the Chicken Tenders:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • In a bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers (or panko), shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning mix.
  • In another bowl, mix sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat each chicken tender in the sour cream mixture.
  • Roll tenders in the cracker and cheese mixture, pressing to coat evenly.
  • Arrange tenders on the baking sheet and drizzle with melted butter.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and coating is golden and crispy.
  • Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.
